In view of Governor Inslee’s stay-at-home extension through May, we are continuing to suspend on-site worship at The Sunnyslope Church. Staff is primarily working at home. Please honor social distancing if you need to go to the building itself.
Check our Zoom worship or “chit-chat” schedule(s) and watch for links in the week prior to each of our meetings.
A “transition committee” from the Leadership Team has met (via Zoom) to plan how to welcome our new pastor, Russell Clark to ministry with us in this challenging time of stay-at-home expectations. We hope Pastor Russ will be able to be a part of our Zoom worship on May 17, and the committee will meet with him (via Zoom) on May 18 to help plan what comes next.
Pastor Mike O’Cain will remain with us through the remainder of May, preaching on our “5th Sunday” (Pentecost!) as we make this transition. We are forever grateful for Mike’s leadership and willingness to stay with us through these days!

We are currently planning every-other weekly Zoom worship services through May, depending on our need to continue social distancing and avoid group gatherings. These will be announced in the next news-sheet.
Sunnyslope Church ~ April 22, 2020
We are continuing to suspend all of our group gatherings for worship, committee work, and other building use groups until it is safe to be together physically. Because most of us fall into a “most vulnerable group,” we are not rushing to “re-open.”
Our staff is continuing to work, primarily in their homes.
We will continue a weekly e-mail and postal news-sheet with spiritual encouragement and other notices as one way to help us be
together in spirit and support.
